My name is Kathy Lloyd-Parker. I am privileged to conduct unique and meaningful ceremonies for weddings, blessings and funerals in and around the Auckland area.

MY STORY

I have spent most of my working life in education and have been privileged to work in the primary, secondary and tertiary sector. Of late, I have worked as the Senior Country Manager for Cambridge International as part of the South east Asia Pacific team. Overseeing New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands .

The twenty years I spent as principal of a co-educational school and then a girls’ only school gave me the experiences and skills on which I base my current practice as a celebrant.  I approach all ceremonies with care, kindness and respect. On the sideline, of my professional life,  I was able to spend over twenty years in the theatre acting in Shakespeare, musicals and drama.

Lockdown and being separated from family in Auckland meant that I returned to Auckland from Wellington, leaving behind an enormous involvement in my school – especially being able to give to others.  

I am a trained marriage/civil union celebrant as well as a funeral celebrant. I enjoy people, the process of working together and most of all, making important events matter for all concerned.
